Adhering to product excellence to drive photovoltaic industry transformation and upgrading
As a technological leader in the module encapsulation materials industry, HIUV demonstrated its exceptional innovation capabilities in 2024 by successfully launching six new products: light conversion films, black films, new co-extrusion materials, 0BB, HTPO, and PVE. These innovations significantly improved power generation efficiency and module profitability for solar power plants, contributing to the transformation and upgrading of the photovoltaic industry.

Addressing HJT cell UV sensitivity and performance degradation, HIUV has broken international patents to develop the third-generation 0-migration light conversion film, tailored to mitigate HJT cell UV sensitivity and performance degradation. Combined with an anti-oxidation solution, this film reduces HJT cell degradation by approximately 0.5% annually. Over a 25-year lifespan, a 1 MW power plant can avoid a loss of about 1.2–1.5 million kWh of electricity. HIUV's black film, with its high reflectivity, significantly boosts power generation efficiency, enabling power plants to generate an additional 2 million kWh/MW over 25 years. In response to the industry's drive to reduce costs, HIUV's innovative co-extrusion structure lowers costs for TOPCon modules by 8% compared to traditional solutions. Additionally, the 0BB solution enhances bonding strength through formula optimization, leading to higher yields. For cutting-edge perovskite technology, HIUV's HTPO maintains a bonding strength of 150 N/cm with perovskite materials, reducing yellowing degradation by 30%. Furthermore, HIUV has introduced four tailored solutions to support the commercialization of perovskite technology. In the BIPV sector, HIUV's PVE offers 50% greater strength compared to traditional EVA, addressing the unique requirements of building-integrated photovoltaic applications.

Exploring new horizons and expanding overseas markets
While strengthening its domestic market, HIUV actively pursued international expansion. In the third quarter of 2024, HIUV's first overseas base in Vietnam commenced operations, with phase 1 planning a production capacity of 5 GW. Additionally, HIUV partnered with H.B. Fuller to enter the U.S. market and announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility in the U.S. in November. Beyond these developments, HIUV is also actively exploring markets in Turkey, India, and other regions.

Additionally, HIUV partnered with Fuyao Group to develop a cutting-edge smart dimming panoramic car roof, further strengthening its presence in the smart automotive field and exploring new application scenarios. 

In the construction sector, Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) represents a key trend for future architectural development. HIUV actively participates in the development of multiple standards for architectural and photovoltaic laminated glass, enhancing BIPV encapsulation strength and driving progress in this transformative field.

HIUV has pioneered the industry's first PVE glass encapsulation film, offering high-strength adhesion along with heat and noise reduction capabilities. This advanced solution meets the bonding and energy-saving requirements of automotive glass and curtain wall glass. It provides an optimized encapsulation solution for applications in new energy vehicle glass and architectural curtain wall glass.
